SC Practical Solutions has been supporting clients since 2016. Contracted to open a multispecialty physician practice for a rural hospital, we executed all details involved in opening and managing a new practice. We’ve supported clients with day-to-day operations including training, training visual manuals, policy & procedures, HR documents and protocols, accounting services, and financial reporting. As well as support with items such as EMR implementation, telehealth implementation, marketing, MACRA/MIPS, and more. The SC Practical Solutions team possess over 50 years of combined business management experience and will utilize our knowledge to best support all of your business’s needs.
Shelly Coheley is the founder of SC Practical Solutions, and is a Certified National Business Healthcare Consultant with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the medical field. Shelly possesses the experience necessary to exercise a high degree of decision-making skills to successfully manage multi-million-dollar physician practices. Including opening, merging, relocating private practices, and opening a new multispecialty practice in a rural community. She utilizes her experience and analytical skills to focus on the regulations to maintain compliance within physician practices, forecast revenue challenges, and expense reduction. Shelly believes training, and mentoring is a critical component not only in the professional world, but also in building individuals’ self-esteem and their personal growth. Clients have referred to Shelly as “Efficient, Effective, Productive and Patient Centered, as well as Extremely Reliable and Professional.” Shelly majored in business at Cleary University and has recently taken on additional Business Strategist training.
Rena Nekola is a very driven and compassionate business healthcare professional. She possesses 20 years of hands-on experience in a combination of Academic, Private Practice, and Corporate healthcare settings. As well as a diverse background in Practice, Project, and Program Management. Rena completed both her Bachelors of Business Management and Masters of Health Services Administration from Walsh College. She is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified from the University of Michigan, providing a strong focus on quality patient care and process/performance improvement. Rena has successfully developed and launched a new department, integrated practices, effectively led and implemented many new and/or improved initiatives and supported a variety of quality site visits. Rena believes in “getting back to the basics”, In order for any business to be successful you must first start with a strong foundation. In a Physician’s words, “Rena can look at a broken process, break it down, understand barriers, and then create an improved workflow. Also, her style of communication promotes teamwork, and this is a great recipe for creating successful change”.
